PADI Open Water Diver Course: Your License to Explore the Ocean

The PADI Open Water Diver course is more than just a certification - it is your passport to the underwater world.

Upon completion of this course, you will be a certified, independent diver, qualified to dive with a partner anywhere in the world. With us, you don’t just learn how to dive; you learn how to dive responsibly, safely, and with respect for the environment. The course is structured into three clear sections.

We’ll make sure you’re confident, relaxed, and ready for the big blue.

Section ONE

eLearning: Theory at Home

Master the basics of dive physics, gear, and safety at your own pace. With e-Learning, you can finish your studies from the comfort of your home. This means less time in the classroom and more time exploring the ocean during your stay in Bali.

The Theory: You will learn the principles of safe diving.

The Gear: You’ll gain a thorough understanding of diving equipment and its specific functions.

Safety First: We empower you with the essential skills to evaluate dive conditions and plan safe underwater excursions.

Section TWO

Confined Water Training

In our tropical shallow lagoon, you’ll take your very first breaths underwater. In this safe environment, you will practice the most essential skills – from clearing your mask to mastering your buoyancy.

Mastering Your Gear: You’ll become proficient in using your mask, regulator, and buoyancy control device (BCD).

Essential Emergency Skills: We train for various scenarios so you can react calmly and safely in any situation.

Breathing Techniques: We help you master your breathing so you can feel at ease and peaceful beneath the surface.

Section THREE

Open Water Dives

Time for the real adventure! You’ll head out for 4 open water dives with your instructor to put your skills into practice. Get ready to discover the breathtaking coral reefs and vibrant marine life that Bali is famous for.

Skills in Real-World Conditions: You will apply the skills you’ve learned in the actual underwater environment.

Explore & Enjoy: Under the direct supervision of your instructor, you’ll explore fascinating reefs and learn to move safely with neutral buoyancy.

Your Certification: After mastering all classroom and water sessions, you’ll officially earn your OWD certification!

What to Expect

Duration: 3 Days.

Included: Learning materials, full premium rental equipment (incl. dive computer), logbook, and your international OWD certification.

Your License: With the OWD certification, you are qualified to dive worldwide with a buddy to a maximum depth of 18 meters.

Training: Guidance by experienced instructors.

Refreshments: Surface intervals with snacks directly on the beach or boat; lunch included after your dives.

Transfer: Complimentary pick-up from your hotel in Amed to the dive center.

Prerequisites: You are at least 10 years old, able to swim, and in good physical health.
